Chairs should be as sturdy as possible as they will have to stand up to a lot of heavy usage. Chairs made from plastic materials are a hygienic, safe and affordable option and these can be ergonomically designed for additional comfort.
Storage
You will need somewhere to store away all of the classroom supplies such as textbooks, paper, pens, pencils etc. This will help you to keep things tidy and organized and also reduce clutter to create a functional learning environment. If you do not have a stationary cupboard in your classroom then wall cabinets and storage containers are a good space saving storage option. Think about what kinds of materials and items you need to store away and select cabinets that have appropriate size drawers and cupboards. These will need to be durable and easy to keep clean. If you want to store and display classroom books and smaller items then shelving is also a good option.
